Back & Forth
03:35
|
|||
Here I am, I stand before you
With my heart in my hands
I understand that the air is changing like the time spent waiting on you
Back and forth through my mind
I can't explain it
Back and forth through the times
I thought we'd make it
You built your wall where mine was
You knew you'd need it
So don't ask me to stay
I'd let you in anyway
I can't erase all the damage I've caused
In the wreckage, you I lost
My steady hands while my body's shaking
My heart remains untouched
Back and forth through my mind
I can't explain it
Back and forth through the times
I thought we'd make it
You built your wall where mine was
You knew you'd need it
So don't ask me to stay
I'd let you in anyway
Back and forth........

Now That You Know
03:38
|
|||
Can we run through the flames
Because I can't look back for the fear of failing again
Here we go
Same old words you branded in my brain
I can't let them go
Now that you know
I gave it my all
For what it's worth
I'd still let you fall
Out of my arms
And into the sun
Now that you know
The damage is done
Like a wave
In my veins
I can't deny the motion pulling me from my feet again
Transparant
Fingers making their way
Pressure pushing, wearing way
At my skin
Now that you know
I gave it my all
For what it's worth
I'd still let you fall
Out of my arms
And into the sun
Now that you know
The damage is done
I let you in, under my skin
Only to slip through my fingers again
I let you in, under my skin
Now that you know
I gave it my all
For what it's worth
I'd still let you fall
Out of my arms
And into the sun
Now that you know
The damage is done

Ignite
03:22
|
|||
I've got this burning inside
You left me cursing my only skies
Tossing and turning my eyes
I'm blinded
My eyes are deceiving me
I can speak but can barely breathe
You ignited the misery inside my mind
I cast my heart out
Can you find it
Your love was behind it
Now I've got this yearning inside
I'm terrified
My eyes are deceiving me
I can speak but can barely breathe
You ignited the misery inside my mind

Getaway
03:03
|
|||
I turn around
I turn away
I turn my back on every little thing
If it's no good or no use to me
Why waste time living in a make believe
See, it's time now to say no
Take my own advice and I'll be good to go yeah
I'll pack up all my things
Take a train ride to the city of my dreams
Make a break, run for cover
Find yourself a better lover
Getaway, rediscover
See the world in a different color
This is my get away
Away from yesterday, away from yesterday
I look back but I look up
I look around myself
And I am free for once
No chains to anyone
Just a little change and experience
I found out it's not enough
To please everyone else you shoulda left under the bus
I'll pack up all my things
Take a train ride to the city of my dreams
Make a break, run for cover
Find yourself a better lover
Getaway, rediscover
See the world in a different color
This is my get away
Away from yesterday, away from yesterday

Outlines
03:45
|
|||
My head's in the clouds
While my heart's on the ground
Tried to turn life around but it's not in my hands
There's a will you defy
So we look to the sky
We might fall down on our knees
But we'll come out alive
'Cause there's a will to burn
There's a will to defy
There's a right to fail
Every time that you try
I thought I saw your face but it was just outlines
A voice fills the room
Like the light from the moon
Forming outlines and shadows
I can hear my own echoes
Am I lucidly dreaming
Can you hear my thoughts screaming
I might fall down on my knees
But I'll get up just fine
'Cause there's a will to burn
There's a will to defy
There's a right to fail
Every time that you try
I thought I saw your face but it was just outlines
'Cause there's a will to burn
There's a will to defy
There's a right to fail
Every time that you try
I thought I saw your face but it was just outlines
And these outlines are lies
These outlines are lies
Outlines are lies
